First: Simple Rule.. If you have no photos taken by you on your Photostream uploaded on Flickr and you FOLLOW me I will block you.
I have always had a camera ever since my Dad got me interested in using his Box Brownie in 1956. I have used many cameras over the years and also processed my photos (negative and slide) in my youth. I was Chairman of an amateur Photographic Group for some years. I love photography's many facets and had, many years ago, an Olympus OM system including four camera bodies (OM1, two OM2's and an OM 10) many lenses and filters etc. I gave all that up about 25 years ago when I took up digital photography with its very simple and easy use. I will never go back to dragging large DSLR cameras. A good compact is all I need and is more readily to hand. However, in 2019 I discovered that there is now a way to start using my good OM fit lenses again. I purchased a Full Frame (35mm) Sony Alpha 7ii and an adaptor that allows me to fit the OM lenses without any compromise to image cut off etc. I use manual exposure and I am getting very good results. Still learning how to use the Sony body with all the settings that can be utilised using this Sony camera and old OM-Olympus fit lenses. My trusty Sony compacts, DSC-HX9V & DSC-HX90 are still being used on most occasions if I am out travelling. My smartphone is usually the one I have in my position each day so there are more photos taken with that camera recently.
My hobbies are various and include cycling, walking, hill walking, stamp collecting, photography, automobiles, cooking, baking, friendships and Porsche Boxsters. Oh, and my family including my granddaughter, sweet Isabella Rose Spinelli.
Thanks for the 6 million views so far
