The Tabira Foundry Institute is a technical organization representing the technical and technological aspects of the Spanish foundry industry. It is the Spanish National Representative on the World Foundry Organization.

The main aim of Tabira is to develop and share knowledge in foundry technology and to offer an effective response to the current needs and requirements from the sector.

It counts with the participation of companies and organizations that fall into four main groups: foundries, suppliers of products, consumers and designers of cast components, technological universities/institutes and specialists.

The Institute focuses its main activities on coordinating meetings and high added value frameworks such as forums, working groups, technical seminars, training, …… etc.

It is thus a purely technical initiative that is created to meet the stringent requirements of the market.

As the Spanish National Representative on the World Foundry Organization, it acts as an active link within this organization and some other international professional networks
