I've been an avid amateur photographer from a very young age and I'm now trying to improve my technical skills in a digital world. I do a lot of walking and hiking, and try to achieve at least 10km every weekend in and around the Cape Peninsula, as can be seen from the many photos I've posted in my various sets. I also enjoy macro photography, particularly of insects, birds and flowers. I've met some awesome friends on flickr who have inspired me to keep going and improve the quality of my work.
