Well... I am a grad student at the University of Florida in Gainesville studying advertising at the moment.

With time, I have realized that photography for me is not just a hobby - it is a passion - it is something that I can see myself doing for the 'rest of my life' and not freak out at the thought. I hope, once I graduate next year, I can really 'study' the ins and outs of photography - get down to the core of it and reinforce my hands-on knowledge with a know-how of the science behind this otherwise unrestrained unrestrictable undefinable art form.

P.S.: I love portraits - I see infinite beauty in people - I think this is what I was meant to do... let's see.

Right now all I have is a simple point and shoot Sony Cybershot DSC-W50... I don't know Photoshop (or any other graphic software for that matter:P) so none of my photos undergo any major modifications. I do adjust colors, tints and framing on Picasa. I think I want to create a new genre of Professional Photography with Amateur Equipment (is there a name for it yet?) where simple people like me can take appealing photos using no fancy equipment at all.

Oh... and I do pro-bono portrait shoots... so anyone out there who wants a free portfolio, please drop me a line:D
