I'm still pretty new to photography, and as you can certainly tell, I haven't quite figured out yet either what I want to do or how to do it. Up until my photo "Poplars" I used a hand-me-down point and shoot camera. I now have a Canon XSi that I'm still learning to use and I'm having lots of fun with it. I'd love to have criticism, suggestions, and advice.

I love Flickr and I love my friends here, but I simply can't keep up with everything. I feel it's really not fair to have so many wonderful contacts keep up with all my uploads, while I just don't have the time to reciprocate. So... I've decided to block comments on my pictures. I want you to feel free to view and enjoy (or not) without any obligations at all. This will give me the time to keep up with my special friends a little better via FlickrMail, and the freedom to visit your photostreams whenever I can.

I'd like your experience here to be something like visiting a gallery, where you can look as long or as little as you like, and think or feel whatever you want, without the need to verbalize it. If you really want to say something about a picture, good or bad, please send me Flickr mail. I'll love to hear from you!

I'd like to give a very special thanks to ~Rob~, whom I admire tremendously, for writing a testimonial for me. I can't say enough about his generousity and kindness!

I'd also like to thank RoloDelCampo for his testimonial--I'm sure he gives me far more credit than I deserve, but in case you're wondering--I have no artistic "secrets," so if you want to know how I did something, just ask and I'll try to reconstruct. :-)

Many thanks also to MrOmega for his very kind testimonial. I'm so grateful for your kindness! And another big thank-you to Louthor who also gives me more credit than I deserve! I also want to thank my very dear friends, anyes☆ and Brian D. Tucker for writing such nice things about me!

May I say that the most beautiful landscapes and sceneries are to be found here. They are coming right out of a dream and yet look so real that I can't help but wonder if they are other-worldly. And behind the lens is an amazing person, I have no doubt.

In my opinion an artist must know how to create. Ifdefelseif's pictures are more than simple photographies: they are worlds, dreams, created with sensibility and a great amount of good taste. I don't think her work is common, I mean, I consider it a refuge to go from time to time to discover other realities or to enjoy with the realities I already know. On Flickr there can be seen many pictures, but only a few are so interesting as Ifdefelseif's are. An authentic haven of dreams.
