My first camera was a Micro110, in purple and black, i dropped it as soon as i got it and the shutter never even got fired once. i was mortified. and about 8.

i was occasionally allowed after that to shoot with my parents '70s Kodak 126 instamatic camera.

A camera to my parents is a documentary tool, an aid to aide memoire as it were, and i can't recall ever being encouraged creatively.

I have always been facinated with how things work, and think that where my interest in Photography stems. after "wow" my next thought is always "how"

I got my first SLR while studing Chemistry at university, i mastered the controls but became jaded with the price of films and processing before being able to lean to use it creatively.

Thanks god for digital cameras and Photoshop.

I hope that my photos will eventually show what i love learning about from Flickr, YouTube, Blogs etc.

For now, thanks for viewing my snaps!
