I learned my first photography lesson when I was 13 years old.

My Dad gave me a Minolta rangefinder. I was very excited and took pictures of most of my classmates. As soon as I got home, I opened the camera, took the film out, un-rolled and viewed it against the light and did not see anything. The rest is history.
