I'm Pisces in Newcastle, with my fingers in the photography, fiction, blogging and design pies.

I took up photography aged 10, using my mum's old Agfa Instamatic, and have worked my way through a Nikon film point-and-shoot, a Nikon E3200 digital point-and-shoot, and now my Canon 400D SLR. I also have a Pentax ME Super which I love, but film is too pricey to use all the time.

I like shooting statuary, architecture and landscapes, but I'm not averse to portraits or still lifes. My new favourite thing is light trails...
