International Carnivorous Plant Society
Drag to set position!
The International Carnivorous Plant Society (ICPS) is an organization of horticulturists, conservationists, scientists, and educators all interested in sharing knowledge and news of carnivorous plants. Since its founding in 1972, the Society has been an integral part of the carnivorous plant world.
The ICPS is probably best known for its color publication, Carnivorous Plant Newsletter. But there are many more reasons that membership in the Society is so exciting. Members have access to the ICPS seed bank and can attend the international meetings. Many carnivorous plant nurseries provide discounts to ICPS members.
Today the ICPS is expanding. It is growing in membership and evolving in perspective. While the Society was once just a club of plant growers, it has evolved into a truly international society with a professional quality journal, an increasing voice in the world of conservation, and a network of horticulturists larger than ever before. The Society is a registered US IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation and is the International Registration Authority (IRA) for carnivorous plant cultivars.
