Ten years ago, I dreamed that I went to a fantastic place near Taipei. That dream was so vivid that even now I though I had been there and tried to find out this place and revisit it. Perhaps it was a real place, not a dream. I just messed up my memories. Is it like déjà vu or distorted memories? Finally, I found that I can't believe memories anymore.
Then, photography becomes a good way for me to recall memories and emotions. It records where I have been, what I have focused on, and how I feel. It is more realistic than my memories. Even though I retouch my photos, they are not less reliable to me. This world is what we want to believe, not what it really appears.
