Steven is a Marine, Portrait and Travel Sailing photographer that is originally from the Coastal Region of North Carolina, USA. He has lived in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and also in the National Forests of Southwest Virginia. He presently makes his home close to the shores of Chesapeake Bay on the Historic Middle Peninsula of Virginia. There resides in him a great love for the water, the mountains and all of the Nature and Beauty of these areas. He has traveled extensively about the US and the world and has documented his travels to incorporate this Photographic Passion. He has been published in National Sailing and Boating Magazines and has supplied photos for five travel tabloids during his career. Teaching Photography for a four year period at Virginia Western Community College and having the extreme pleasure of knowing his many students served to remind him of how the passion for Photography can hold you in its clutches for a lifetime.
