I'm a hiker, climber, mountaineer, and general adventurer from the Southwestern U.S. now residing in the Pacific Northwest. Photography has been my passion ever since my parents gave me a cheap film camera to take pictures on hikes (and to get me to stop complaining about interrupting my video games!). I may have made them regret that decision a little bit as the film processing costs accumulated... Now, as I continue my career in the natural sciences, my goal as a photographer and artist is to combine my experiences in art and science by capturing the beauty of the landscapes and nature that I study.
