As of August 19, 2008 I am being very selective in my contacts because I can hardly keep in contact with the ones I have now, and have had to delete many of current contacts have, but not without notifying them. Most everyone seemed to agree that having too many contacts and keeping up with them was impossible and they were not offended at all.

I will say that having contacts keeps you in mix of everything going on and current events and new groups that you might not pick up on without contacts. So, having a few choice contacts is a good idea perhaps.

Now that I have that out of the way....a little background on myself.

I am a Christian, and having the Lord in my life is the most important thing there is in this life. Without God there is nothing.

To wake up each day to a new day, putting the past behind and concentrating on the present knowing that God is by my side every step of the way. He has gone before me and made my path and knows the way I will go and he will guide me, comfort me, strengthen me, he will use the Holy Sprit that dwells within me to do those things for me also in the same way.

The Holy Spirit is called "the Comforter"... Jesus said he would not leave us but that God would send the Holy Spirit and teach us all things...John 14:26

I live in SW Virginia, USA. It is one of the most beautiful parts of United States with its mountains and farmlands. We are on the edge of the coal fields and rural. I have a semi-large rock-flower garden that I have perennials that bloom from the first sign of Spring till the killer frost in the Fall. I also have flowers all around our yard and house. We have hummingbirds that come every year to the feeders, and a bat that hang out over our porch swing that has been coming for at least 6 years. We also have a dog named Pookie, two cats, Oreo and Lucy...or Lucy-fur. Our daughter has a cat named Annabel and her twin Sophia.

Photography has become a great love and hobby for me replacing the many other things in life that I used to be able to do before i became disabeled with Fibromyalgia, arthritis, and chronic back problems and surgery.

Life is beautiful and everything I see through the camera lens is seen in a different way. Nothing can replace what you see with your eyes though. God has blessed me beyond measure, more than I deserve with my family and friends.

Fall of 2008 I went back to college at the age of 45 and started taking photography classes. I must admit I felt a little out of circuit, but that feeling soon went away. It is so exciting to go back to college, especially after being disabled from work. Who knows, maybe something will dome out of this adventure and it would all be because my husband bought me a camera one day...and I started posting my photos on Flickr!
