The International Arctic Research Center (IARC) is a premier research institute at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. It is home to more than 100 scientists, staff, and students working on a wide variety of issues related to Arctic system science, climate change, and climate adaptation. IARC's purpose is to understand the Arctic to make a difference, through useful and actionable research.
