If I lived in the country, I'd probably have a penchant for sweeping vistas and scenes of rural decay. But since I'm in New York City, I spend a lot of time capturing the people of the city. I bought my 70-300mm lens thinking I'd using it for bird and wildlife photography when I'm on vacation, but instead I was mostly using it for portraits of unsuspecting New Yorkers.
In June 2008, I had a baby. That seriously curtailed my photography (though I'm becoming quite the expert at infant portrait photography). I'm slowly easing back into my previous style (as of summer 2009) and I hope to really ramp back up again sometime soon.
I use a Canon Digital Rebel XT (350D), the 18-55mm kit lens, the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8, or the Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM telephoto zoom lens (all of which I got in November 2006). Older photos (or photos on the run) are taken with a Canon PowerShot A95.
Si eres de España, bienvenidos! A veces, vuelvo a vivir en Barcelona, una ciudad genial para la fotografía. Hablo inglés, castellano y catalán, y me gustan comentarios en todas estas lenguas.
