I am a very amateur photographer. Railway's are my main interest, Steam in particular. I am more than happy to receive comments, good and bad about my pictures as it may help me improve my photography.

My first camera was a Kodak 104 Instamatic. My first SLR was a Pentax SP500 with an M42 screw thread. After cutting my teeth on the Pentax I bought an Olympus OM1 (which I still have), and an OM2, long since sold.

For a while I put aside the cameras and came back to photography slightly more seriously with my first digital camera, an Olympus Camedia which came free as part of a bundle with a new PC.

With the birth of my first Granddaughter I got a DSLR, a Sony a200, which was followed by a Sony SLT a77v. I'm currently using a Sony A7m2. I have a 50mm f1.8 lens, a 16-35mm zoom, 28-70 zoom lens and a 70-300 zoom lens.
