IAN FLEMING
Drag to set position!
Irish photographer Ian Fleming began his career as a photographer back in 2005, documenting his own rural community in the south of Ireland. Since then his photography has led to more in-depth social documentary work. For example 'The Foster Parents', 'The Mary Byrne X-Factor' and 'Trade Union Protest', the people of Irelands reaction to the Irish Governments handling of the Financial Recession and many more.
His images have been used in publications such as GCD's magazine, RTÉ's 'Off The Rails' fashion website and used by organisations such as 'Aware', for it's 'Daisy Day Charity Campaign 2011' social media page, White Collar Boxing Ireland Association, Gazette Newspaper Group, Allied Irish Bank, Bank Of Ireland and Bavaria.

I strive to use my camera to be more than a device to record images. Instead it is a tool that expresses how I see the world around me. I am a photographer who engages in what I am photographing be it portaits, landscapes, events, fine art or any other photographic task I take on. Through this method of photography, I can gain a level of understanding. This helps me photograph images that not only represents what I am photographing but also a part of myself.
I am both pleased and grateful you have taken time to look at my my work and to read about me.
