Born 1979, a Johorian now residing in Selangor, Supian is the only son and third of five siblings who received his primary education at SRK/SMK in Shah Alam, Selangor before being transfers to several schools for continue with his education untill 1996. He was then joining the private collage where he received his Diploma in Computer Graphics in 1999.

Since graduation day, he has been working for almost 9 years with a severals local advertising agencies and publishers and now he holding a post of Senior Designer at local book publisher in Malaysia.

Married, Supian is blessed with 1 lovely kid - a boy aged almost three and expecting his second in this year August. He started off with a decent point and shoot and learn to improve his shots by asking for feedback, inputs and syndicating with the advanced users and professional photographers. He bought his first DSLR in 2006 and has been carrying it with him everyday. For this time, he is contributor for DrikNEWS International Photo Agency. His work is been recognised by international magazine, National Geographic online at daily dozen while winning some photo contest locally.

Ian is currently shooting to complete his personal project, while continuing his personal learning on photojournalism on weekends, joining assignments and ad-hoc jobs with the professionals of stated the field.

When he retires from his office, his ambition is to travel some selected countries of the world and complete a series of documentary on the people & culture of the people of those countries. For now, Ian is a casual blogger and shoots street subjects and themes of his interests.
