My life is a culmination of math, romantic comedies, yarn, music, cookies, and procrastination. My math major is only just beginning, and between math texts, I read Bridget Jones’ Diary, The Devil Wears Prada, The Dim Sum of All Things and the like. Despite my complete lack of artistic talent, I do my best as an amateur knitter and crocheter, turning fat strings of wool into yarnified goods. But my tendonitis-ridden wrists protest my newfound obsession with knitting needles and crochet hooks. As a violinist, my tendons have taken quite enough of a beating as is. I bake cookies with a sort of reckless passion, haphazardly amalgamating ingredients together and adding wonderfully liberal amounts of vanilla extract. I live with the philosophy that there is too much to do and not enough time to do it all, and am therefore left with piles of unfinished to-do lists scattered hopelessly around my room.
