I love looking at faces. A face can hold such ugliness or beauty, most people do not normally detect; be it physical, mental, or emotional. A face can hold a spectrum of raw emotions, some posed, some not, that when captured with the right luck.. makes that picture that makes you sigh, or your breath catch..
I love being behind the camera and am not very good at self portraits, hence why I am attempting a 365- to better myself, but don't have a very good camera for capturing anything. I paid too much for an SLR that takes less quality than my 10 year old digital. I love making someone feel 'sexy' or empowered, or just plain good about oneself when you pose them, and give them the confidence some never thought they had.. just the same, getting that feeling when someone takes a picture of you...
I think women are more beautiful artistically speaking. I think it is because their bodies have more to offer visually.. but hey, change my mind..!...
but I like looking at photos or art of women out of the norm. I think women with a little bit of meat on them is much sexier than a gaunt face or ribs and a pelvic bone..skin and bones. its ok to have a little pooch, and some hips! Tattoos and piercings, dyed hair in odd colors, all of these things I find fascinating.
Yet I think its an envy that i feel towards these women, because they look so beautiful, and look so confident, even if they're pretending, its a thing to be envious of.. confidence is hard to attain..
If I add you to my friends, it means I probably like your photos you take. It does not mean I am going to be obsessed, a pervert, or a sexually deviant. In fact the only time I am the latter is while in bed, but aren't we all? and if I am not, you should try it. I have retired for the time being.
You are the one posting the photos on the Internet, if you did not want people looking at them, you would not have posted them.. yes?
But don't get me wrong, if you can amuse me with a conversation of your game of Halo, WoW, the show you saw on the History Channel, or the latest Horror/Gore film... and you have nice shoulders, I'd probably be drooling over you.
[MY HEALTH]
My life for the past seven years has been pretty much stuck at home due to being such a Uni-Q. Let me tell you after your small amount of friends start driving (way back in high school), and I still can't drive, your friends slowly stop coming around... so your conversations turn to the highest intelligence around, or the most amusing- or both. For me it was my black cat Turbo. My sister got him for me around 2000 when he was just a wee skinny nitrous infused kitten.
He was my best furriend and guardian from the ghosts in my house until 2:30am August 27, 2008.
but he's back with me for good, and Has relinquished his duties to Pirate Jack, whom is preoccupied planning her next assault on the Dirty Dachshund Duo,or attacking the Krakken and school of guppies, and get back to the Cretinous Cardboard Mountains before being detected by the humans!
I have Addison's Disease, hypothyroid, gastroparesis, Vitiligo (darn, there goes my bitchin tan!) .AND migraines. I've had problems with my BP & pulse DXed as Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (P.O.T.S.).
I had a DVT from my PICC line in my right arm AND now from the PICC I had in my left- that DVT is still clearing up. This led to the diagnosis of the Lupus Anticoagulant in my blood (this means I am the opposite of a haemophiliac, I clot too quickly).. no more tattoos. That part bummed me out! I take Coumadin [a blood thinner] and probably will for the rest of my life; which led to my decision to not drink. I may have a sip every now or then, but I just don't like the taste.. of alcohol. ;)
Let's see where was I? Ah yes... My eyes have astigmatisms, still not sure what that exactly is (anyone want to explain?), and my corneas are "slightly peppered," I suppose thats a medical term? I knew I had osteopenia in my bones from a DEXA Bone Density Scan performed a few years ago; however 2008 seemed to be my year of "What else?" when I learned in addition I now have Osteoporosis.
Oh the Glory of Corticosteroids, if only life were as simple as being able to STOP taking a pill that disintegrates your bones, but keeps you alive by synthesizing cortisol.
It is My Addison's and ending up dehydrated which ends me up in the hospital quite often.. that has ruined my plan to do the 365..
I signed up for Flickr to do the 365 project.. and then joined a group to do another..
but my health has proven to be a hard thing for something as simple a task as taking & posting a picture once a day...
I plan to do themed pictures, but we'll see how THAT goes.. >.<
I'm straight.
