it's just a cup ...

 

someone made a cup of clay and colored it with a raku - Japanese technique, suggesting the idea of a landscape on a rainy day.

 

someone made a cappuccino and filled the cup by drawing a leaf with the capuccino foam.

 

someone photographed the cup.

 

someone has built a landscape in a virtual world, called second life, partly designed and partly photographed.

 

someone designed a virtual object in the shape of a cup and applied the photo of the raku cup. then he put it into the virtual landscape.

 

I found the virtual cup and photographed it, trying to frame the leaf and using a screenshot, that is a shot taken using a kind of camera inside the virtual world program.

 

then I enlarged the photo on the PC paint program and I re-photographed it with the PC screenshot.

 

then I loaded it on the internet flikrs program ... and maybe I darkened it a bit as if it were less sunny than the original.

 

but it's just a cup ...
