The first thing that strikes you about Hywel's photostream is his portraiture - his "Headshots" series is about as simple a format as one could choose, and yet the portraits are wonderfully expressive, and represent a fine body of work in their own right. Having noticed that, you'll then start to see his eye for light and tone - check out "Thai Boxer", "Booth" or "Eddie Bravo". Hywel doesn't post much, but when he does, it's usually worth paying attention to (and generally so good that personally, I tend to be reduced to making minor points about fill flash etc).
