Have you ever been drifting peacefully into sleep and suddenly your body jolts to save you from the coming depth?

In this time, you are drifting into a delicate threshold between consciousness and sleep. Visions of dreams may start to appear, but suddenly a muscle twitches to wake you. Those twitches are called hypnic jerks.

My photography is an extension of my vision. I don’t seek to create photos; the moments already exist. Sometimes, I capture them to keep a memory close, or to evoke a subtle string of emotions. There are countless moments every day that catch my eye but never make it through a lens. In each of my photos, you will find micromoments. Each shot contains its own atmosphere. Together, they make up the threads of my daily life.

These photos are just a few of the natural pulses that catch my eye. A twitch disrupting the daily monotony, exposing the beauty of life.
