The H.Y.P.E.R. Youth Recovery Initiative was created in October of 2011 through the Foundation for Recovery, a certified 501©3 serving southern Nevada. The acronym “HYPER” stands for “How young people experience recovery.” The Foundation for Recovery saw a need in our community for an initiative that focuses on prevention, education, and the spreading of awareness of substance abuse and addiction in our community for adolescents and young adults. This initiative will also serve as an advocate for recovery and to promote positive growth for adolescents and young adults.
