Things I use:
Some older pictures are scans of analogue pictures taken with a wonderful and reliable Praktica BX20s SLR, some of the even older stuff (before 1994) was made with a compact camera of now unknown model.
Next step was a Casio QV-4000 digital compact, which was pretty decent at her time and already made pictures with some 4 Megapixels resolution. I used this camera until November 2008, including some very impressive shots in Greece 2007.
I am currently running around with a Nikon D80, using mainly the standard 18-55mm lens, sometimes I find something to do for the 55-200mm zoom lens as well.
Recently I am becoming a fan of the 50mm/1.8D fixed lens and zoom in and out with my feet.
And since I am away from home a lot recently due to work and I am not carrying the equipment around then, I became a fan of some nice apps for my mobile phone with which you can "simulate" the look and feel of old analogue compact cameras. Now, that's a lot of fun, too!
I love simple post-processing and effects, mainly done with the picnik.com-application. I am able to use Photoshop, but hardly ever really do it.
I use Photomatix Pro for anything HDR and Autopano Pro for anything involving panoramas.
Note:
As of 6 August, 2009, all pictures' licenses are changed to 'all rights reserved'.
There will be no problem for you using any picture or part of a picture with my authorization if you drop me a line and tell me about it before, so don't hesitate to contact me. Thank you!
