Passionate with photography for years Nicolas Hurez a French scrub nurse living in Paris, specialized in Cardiac surgery works towards showing the world through a different eye.

Working under contract with two French NGO’s*, he has been able to help people while travelling around the globe, exploring uncommon places.

Supporting humanitarian causes, Nicolas appreciated observing unusual situations when as he worked in countries such as Afghanistan, Lybia and Haiti. Surrounded by native staff and populations facing natural disasters or ongoing war conflicts, he built his experience by shooting strongly emotional scenes.

After a few publications, he collaborates with these organisations to help raising awareness through snapshots with intense feelings.

One of his guideline would be:

“The photograph itself doesn’t interest me. I want only to capture a minute part of reality.“ (Henri Cartier-Bresson).

Nicolas’ idea of photography is not only limited to photojournalism as he wants to catch each moment he lives

Natural born Globetrotter, he wants to bring home a long lasting image of moments, landscapes that he enjoys watching.
