An aviation enthusiast since childhood, I joined the Royal Air Force in December 1978, and served as an Aircraft Technician (Airframes) until June 1989. Since 1994 I have been involved as a volunteer at the Midland Air Museum, Coventry, UK. I have been working on Hawker Hunter F6A XF382 since then, having actually worked on this aircraft during my RAF career!

I am also a volunteer at the Kemble for the Air Day / Open Day weekends at the former RAF base in Gloucestershire, UK.
