I caught the Flickr virus early in 2007 and have never recovered, to say the least. To say I was born with a camera in my hands would be exaggerated, but I;ve owned cameras since the age of 7 (my first was a Kodak Clack). The demise of 35mm and the rise of digital photography has opened complete new horizons to me that I am eagerly exploring. Being part of Flickr and having friends and contacts here is enormously encouraging and, through photography and Flickr, I have come to a complete new, much intenser, appreciation of the visual world.

Humandecoy is one of the more varied photographers I've found on flickr. He has successfully developed several stylistic personas in his work, all uniquely his own. A large portion of his work is bright, colorful, and slightly (humorously) irreverent (like his handle). Other images are more complex and subtle, seemingly exploring an edgier, more detached side of his artistic eye. Regardless of which persona shows up to post to flickr on any given day, his work is among the more consistently interesting photographs found here. Thanks for posting Humandecoy.
