I've been interested in photography most of my life. My first camera was one of those awful Kodak 110 pocket cameras. I then borrowed my dad's Ricoh 35mm and separate hand-held light meter... eventually got my own Canon, then a Minolta with a zoom lens... then went digital with a Nikon Coolpix S51, then a Nikon D80. Now I use a Nikon D5100 and my Nexus 5x phone.

Some of my photographic interests are patterns, reflections, glass, light, shadows, scanner photos, and nature-y stuff.

flickr has been so much fun - I'm amazed at some of the photos people have out here. It's very inspiring. And beyond the photos, I've 'met' some great people, 'seen' places I've never been, learned about other lifestyles/hobbies, and even learned a few new words. How cool is that?!
