In photography, I'm a student of the art. As an admirer of other peoples' works, I look for ways to expand my horizon and knowledge. I am self taught. Google searches and Flickr have proved to be invaluable in my progression. Additionally, I am fortunate to know people who graciously impart their knowledge of photography.

I cannot tell you that I loved photography when I was a kid. In fact, I had no inkling for anything related to photography. I just decided to pick it up one day so I can take professional level product pictures for a business project. Subsequently, I was warped into the world of photography – and I'm loving it.

My journey into photography started with models. I was quite the strobist during this time and really enjoyed playing with light. Eventually I started shooting weddings. When I had my own kid, I focused on children and family photography. I dropped my strobist setup and opted for natural light, which was more ... kid friendly.

I enjoy amassing my arsenal of lenses, cameras, and other peripherals. Photography is among my other hobbies outside my 8-5 cubicle job. I imagine it must be exciting to be a photographer for Vogue, TIMES, or Sports Illustrated. Conceptual shoots are intriguing since it requires creativity and vision.
