Confession: I recently made remarks about the cowardice involved in being an anonymous critic. Upon reflection I began to recognize a level of hypocrisy on my part. Although I would never criticize another person's work, anonymously or not, I have to admit there is a certain lack of courage in being an anonymous artist as well. So...

My name is Howard Bolton.

I was born, raised, and continue to live in the Southern California area. I have had an embarrassing wealth of life experiences (both home and abroad). Through my travels I have had the opportunity to interact with many different kinds of people, which has further exacerbated my already social nature.

Although the written word is my first and true love, I have experimented with nearly every form of art. I have been a musician (a pretty good one), a painter (a really bad one), a sculptor (even worse then the painting), and now photographer (I'll let you decide the level of quality on this one).
