I like taking pictures of things that don't move a whole lot...and stitching really really wide landscape shots of Colorado and my various travels together.

As of June 2013, Flickr surprised me with it's revamped site, so I've decided to slowly but surely move a vast majority of photos to here once and for all. The new layout really is awesome.

Several photos are from early 2005 as a kid when I first started messing with photography as a hobby. Years later, my interests and career morphed into the world of film and video editing, gradually taking me to 3D animation today of which some of my work is shared here. Photography goes hand in hand with composition in lighting three dimensional scenes and many aspects of video and motion graphics of course, so I still enjoy taking photos to keep up on the skill.

Lately I've been into stitching massive panoramas and landscape photography from several trips to various locations in the Rocky Mountains. Hoping to continue editing my raws and posting here, as well as any future projects. Check out my websites below, or contact me at hqhempen@live.com. Unfortunately Society6 has fell off from being photographer-friendly, so I no longer have a complete catalogue of readily available prints available for sale.
