First off, I don't need automatic reciprocal comments and faves. Please fave and comment! But don't feel you have to just because I did. I comment and fave because I think I have something to say and because I really like something.

I'm a software development manager by day. The rest of the time I'm too busy with family, Japanese, my car... I manage to find time to take some photos as well.

I'm back to film! Shooting one of the first cameras I ever shot, a Kodak Instamatic X-15F, an older Kodak Instamatic 500, a medium format Mamiya RB67 Professional S with multiple backs including Polaroid, my old Canon FD cameras and lenses, my newer Canon EOS/EF bodies and lenses. I may just sell my digital stuff, I'm loving film so much again.

I got a Casio Exilim the summer before last while in Nagoya and uploaded thousands of photos from it... so I decided to pay for flickr Pro after all.

And once I had that I decided I really loved SLRs and needed a DSLR so just a month later I got a Canon T1i (500D) with 18-55 IS and 55-250 IS lenses... (all now sold) it took me years to go to digital but now I've gone in a big way! Lots of learning curve now. Then I got a 40D, then a 1D... and an old 650 AF film EOS body and then a EOS-1N RS body, silly silly gearhead me!

The older good photos were taken with my old Canon manual focus equipment (FTb, TX and AE-1 bodies, various FL and FD lenses) while the cheesy ones were taken with my Motorola phone's VGA camera. Newer ones are digital and film both.

Lens list for those interested: Canon 50mm f/1.8 (Mark I and II, will likely sell Mark II, will see), Canon 100-400 IS USM f/4L, EF12II, Canon 135mm f/2L, Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L, Canon 17-40mm f/4L, Canon Extender 1.4x EF II (makes 100-400mm into 140-560mm f/6.3-f/8 and 135mm f/2 into 189mm f/2.8), Peleng 8mm f/3.5 180-degree fisheye, Canon 20mm f/2.8 FDn, Canon 24mm f/2 FDn, Canon 28mm f/2 SSC, Canon 35mm f/2 SSC, Canon 50mm f/1.4 SSC, Canon 50mm f/3.5 SSC MACRO, Canon 55mm f/1.2 FL, Canon 85mm f/1.8 FL, Canon 100mm f/2.8, Canon 200mm f/2.8 SSC, Canon 300mm F/4L with matched 1.4X multiplier (effectively 420mm f/5.6).

On the Mamiya RB67 I have 65mm, 90mm, 110mm, 180mm lenses.
