Born in the wilds of Alaska, Kara grew up, got a fine education in a faraway place, found she missed the low-stress peace-and-quiet, and so moved back home where she spends her free moments learning to be more Zen about life.

Kara is a graphic designer/illustrator who walks/bikes to work (even in winter) and would like to get back to her fine art roots. Her love of music is rivaled only by that of the outdoors and this flickr account just might reflect that.
