Wilken’s Nest - House of Bakes is the culmination of a life-long artistic pursuit, the love for food and the fulfilment of a dream.

The owners, Hanó & Riëtte Wilken soon realised what started of as a hobby with a few cakes and treats for family and friends became more than just a hobby.

House of Bakes are based in the Nelson Mandela Metro in the Eastern Cape and specialise in hand sculpted delicious works of art and offers a variety of satisfying flavours from our signature chocolate cake to old fashioned Vanilla Sponge.

Every design is a result of our talent and your imagination. We work with each client to create a unique work of art that will add an exciting dimension to any celebration.
