My name is Brad Smith (Bradley W. Smith) and I am located near Princeton, NJ and have been a photographer/cinematographer since I was 14 and went professional in 1975 with my first wedding shoot (which I learned not to repeat to often) at 16. I joined an ABC TV affiliate in 1975 as a professional cinematographer and director for news and sports. I ssoon became an audio/video/film producer/director professionally, establishing my own audio/video/film production company in 1981, while I continued to shoot 35mm images for commercial clients and for my personal portfolio building focused on advertising and public relations for the grape and wine industry specifically.

In 2004, misfortune struck and my entire film collection was destroyed and all but a few of those 10,000 - 20,000 images remain today.

In 2006, I made a move to start over relearning the craft and moved into the digital realm with the addition of a Sony Alpha 100 - 10.2 SLR and new MK lenses, a new portable constant and flash system, perfect for location or studio work.

I May 2008, I started writing the first book, How to Mater Your Digital Camera - Book 1 (and shoot like a pro) of a three book series on Digital Photography Mentoring and one year later the book is planned for a late January 2010 release. This is why you will not see as many photos posted this past year as many will be in the new books and not published publicly until then.

In 2009 I returned full time to shooting digital cinematography as well, shooting with the Cannon XH-A1 shooting in a more cinematic style than ENG or traditional video style. I will be setting up new web sites in 2010 to showcase my work along with a client portal. Until then you can view my videos on YouTube by searching CinematicImagesGroup.
