Hot Cheese Crew

 

Im Jahr 2005 gründeten Fabian Hilbich, Florian Wolf und Philipp Merkelbach das Künstlerkollektiv Hot Cheese Crew. 2009 stieß der Illustrator Steve Marshall dazu. Alle aus dem Bereich Streeart/Graffiti stammend haben sie doch ganz unterschiedliche Schwerpunkte und Stile, die sich in ihren Arbeiten auf intuitive Weise zu einem dynamischen Ganzen verbinden.

 

Da alle Künstler sowohl im Kollektiv als auch solo arbeiten hat die Hot Cheese Crew einen unwahrscheinlich großen Output. Allein in den letzten 12 Monaten stellen sie in über 10 Ausstellungen aus, darunter die ART BASEL (Miami), Scope (Miami), Threesome NiceNice Gallery (Hannover), int. Meeting of Styles (Wiesbaden) uvm. und arbeiten für namenhafte

Kunden wie Levi's, Ucon, Titus, Tristar Sylt und Zoo York und mit Internationalen Musikern wie Ze! (Kuala Lumpur), Andre Wakko (Brasil), EMMA (Düsseldorf) zusammen.

 

Aus der Liebe zur Musik und zur Kollaboration entstand die Idee zu einem audiovisuellen Ausstellungskonzept im Kasseler Kultur-Komplex A.R.M/Galerie Loyal/Raum4 wo sich Künstler und Musiker alle zwei Monate die Klinke in die Hand drücken.

Seit April 2009 verbindet sich dort Kunstschau mit Musikgenuss und das Konzept gibt dem Besucher die Möglichkeit junge Kunst zu betrachten und außergewöhnliche Konzerte weitab vom Mainstream zu erleben.

Hot Cheese Crew

All four Artists have roots in graffiti and street art. Although they have individual methods and style, their work intuitionally connects to a dynamic ensemble.

 

Because all artists work alone and in together as well the Hot Cheese Crew has a tremendous Output. During the last 12 month they joined over 10 exibitions, naming ART BASEL and SCOPE (Miami), THREESOME at Nice Nice Gallery (Hannover), int. Meeting of Styles (Wiesbaden) and more.

The also worked for clients like Levi's, Ucon, Titus, Tristar Sylt und Zoo York and with nternational musicians like Ze! (Kuala Lumpur), Andre Wakko (Brasil), EMMA (Düsseldorf).

 

From the love to music and collaboration came the idea for a audio-visual exibition concept at kassel culture-complex A.R.M./Galerie Loyal/Raum4 where artists and musicians come together every 2 month.

Since april 2009 art-show and musical satisfaction meets to give visitors the possibility to enjoy young art and special concerts far away from the mainstream.
