My first job was in steel fabrication for my Dad building flat bottom towboats in Shreveport Louisiana. I loved building and creating things and learned a lot from my dad. In 1997 I started a career building custom aircraft interiors on Bombardier and Challenger aircrafts. Over the years I did custom woodworking for Gulfstream, Lear Jet, Boeing, and Airbus. I’ve worked on million dollar wood working projects for royalty and race car drivers, including the 2 G-150′s for Roger Penske.

I have worked with some of the most exotic woods in the world and gained lots of composite material experience from aviation, including resin, fiberglass, aluminum, and wood composites. I can use just about any woodworking/carpentry tool that has been made, and have often had to make my own jigs, templates, and setups. I have also designed a few of my own tools to accomplish things where no tool existed. I love working with wood because I can see it go from raw stock and nasty looking, to a beautiful piece of work ready for someone to admire.

I started Horn Customs to provide the craftsmanship of handmade, solid hardwood electric guitars and basses at an affordable price. I use only select hardwoods and exotic woods; no plywood or cheaper substitutes are ever used! All made in the USA right here in Texas.

Each instrument is hand crafted and a unique work of art. I have no factory or assembly lines cranking out bodies and necks. This ensures that every one receives a truly custom guitar – that looks and sounds amazing!

I try hard to maintain affordability in my product so that everyone can enjoy them. I’ll work with you to understand your vision of a dream guitar and then I’ll use my skills and experience to create a horn custom that you’ll love to play!
