4th generation Florida native. My maternal side of the family came down from Quaker/Pennsylvania Dutch stock around the time of the recent unpleasantness brought on by the war of Northern aggression.

The paternal side of my family are mostly crackers and southerns; farmers, road and bridge builders along the Mississippi, with a distant link to a New England Senator of ill-repute of long ago.
