I love color and texture. I am humbled by the beauty of nature and strive to capture the patterns, colors, and abstract glimpses of life that Mother Nature generously provides.

I am lucky that my husband and I share an interest in photography (check out his excellent work at DeeperSea). He gave me a new macro lens, a micro nikkor 105mm f2.8 AF-D for my birthday, which is challenging me to actually learn a little more about what I'm doing! I am learning a lot from my Flickr friends and love looking at the world through so many different eyes (and lenses!) Thanks for sharing so generously of your talents and creative spirits.

On the creative front, I also love painting, quilting, and pottery. But apart from pottery, photography has been taking most of my creative energies these days!
