I have been an amatuer photographer since age 10 or so.

Grew up shooting all the rolls of tri-x pan i could get.my hands on. (4-H Photography) (Mom was the editor of the local hometown newspaper, free film and processing!)

I honed my skills with an old manual mamiya shooting black and white. Many of the older climbing shots you see were taken using a Yashica T4 and FujiChrome Velvia (yes, I'm a recovering Velvia addict! :-)

The Flickr / Yahoo name comes from a nickname some of my climbing partners gave me.
