My name is Markus and I am living in a village called Rankweil, located in the Rhine valley in western Austria. I am a Hobby Photographer.

Photography is my passion since many years, however I was not really active for almost 1 decade, before I owned an analog Canon SLR and in the digital age I owned a simple compact camera, hence I lost the focus on my hobby as photographer. I then changed this in spring 2011 and bought a Canon SLR camera and various lenses.

I like nature photography, architectural photography, and especially macro photography - particularly in my home country Austria.
