Jaap is not only an accomplished and professional photographer and fine artist but a dear friend who is always supportive and doesn't ever judge his fellow human being. By following Jaap I've learned alot from landscapes and architecture to portraits and his amazing macro work. As many of us have, i've been through some trying times while a member here at Flickr and lost friends that don't really know or care. Jaap cares and is, in every sense of the word, a human being possessing true integrity and character. Not only am i proud to call him a friend and colleague, but i'm very very humbled that he continues to support me without question an is always so positive. Jaap is een echte Holland Fotograaf (af en toe ook België), hij laat de mooiste plekjes van Nederland (en België) zien op de mooiste momenten en omstandigheden gemaakt. Ook in macro fotografie is Jaap een waar kunstenaar, prachtige macro foto's komen er regelmatig langs in zijn stream.
