Lin HoHo currently creates and lives in Taipei. He graduated from the Department of Fine Arts (Oil Painting) and the Graduate Institute of New Media Arts (formerly known as the Graduate Institute of Technology Arts) at the Taipei National University of the Arts, specializing in Media Art (Creative Group).

After completing his military service in 2011, Lin began organizing the vast collection of photographs he had taken in the past, shifting his creative medium to digital flat images. His work focuses on existential issues related to himself and his environment. He is influenced by thinkers and artists such as Heidegger, Roland Barthes, Antonio López, Tahl Leibovitz, Daido Moriyama, and the Japanese romantic blind photography method. In the moment of pressing the shutter, he experiences a tense sense of voyeurism that cannot be immediately grasped, followed by a rush of pleasure. He believes he captures a pure sense of beauty, even though it may not be fully established. This feeling does not belong to him, but is left for future satisfaction.
