Mid 50's, I've been in a Camera Club, in Port Macquarie, Australia, for about 7 years, have graduated from a Nikon 5700 prosumer camera through various Canon DSLRs (300D, 20D, 5D, 50D now a 7D). I like mainly Macro/Nature/Bird & Landscape Photography. I am just getting into Panorama Photography. In 2008 added a Canon 50D, MP-E65 Macro lens, MR-14EX ring flash to the collection of gear, looking forward to getting better at Macro photography. In July I finally got a Sigma 300-800 EX DG lens for wildlife photography, I'll have to go to the gym to get fit so that I can carry this monster! The latest addition is a Canon 7D, which I really appreciate when shooting birds in flight!

In July, 2019 I replaced the 7D mkll with an EOS R. While this isn't as good for wildlife, I really like the better resolution, Dynamic range & the fantastic DPAF. I wish that the servo AF was quicker & would track (birds in flight) better & that the continuous shooting rate was 10 fps with AF ….. Oh well I'll have to wait for the next EOS R body!
