I'm a native of Florida and have spent most of my life in and around the ocean. Surfing became my passion during the summer of "64" and has remained so throughout these many years. As a lifeguard captain my patrol watched over the beach patrons of Miami Beach as they frolicked.

Back in the 70's I had a Canon AE1 & an FTB with a number of lenses. I built a darkroom & had a ball doing B&W photos of all sizes. In 2000, I purchased an Olympus 2100 Ultra Zoom which introduced me to digital photography.

I was using a Canon EOS 5D but sold all my DSLR gear and purchased a Sony A7RIII which is a great camera. I love playing with Photoshop and other graphic programs like Xara. I have sold most of my camera gear and use my phone mostly now.
