I joined Flickr about 2 almost 3 years ago with the intention of just uploading pictures. Never would I have thought i'd meet so many amazing photographers who have helped me grow as a photographer myself. I started out with a regular point and shoot. I then upgraded to a Nikon D3000 a while later. Though i'm not half as good as some of my friends on here i'm growing as a photographer. I excel in pet photography, but i'm trying to broaden my horizons with nature shots and of, as my dogs would say, "the two legged freaks". Everyone can do photography, but I'm one of the some who it comes natually to. Hate to sound cheesy but it's my cup of tea.

I have lived in a small farm town for 16 years. I'm incredibly inlove with the Border Collie and have owned a few in my life. I have a newly formed breeding kennel dedicated to improve the Border Collie breed. I do agility with my Border Collie. I also train obedience and hope to soon start flyball, and lure coursing.

Focus ~ she came to me from www.jlmbordercollies.ca in May of 2009. How she came to me was pure fate though. After months of asking my dad for a puppy he agreed to it. I knew I wanted a Border Collie so I could start doing canine sports, such as agility. My friend, Alyssa was also in the loop for a Border Collie. She referred me to Jeniffer of JLM Border Collies. She had a litter due in the last week of March. I wanted a female chocolate and white, and both of her parents are black and white, her mum being a tri. The chance they would produce a chocolate was slim but I had faith. You see, in the very first breeding of this cross Sky(Focus' mum) produced a chocolate and white in a litter of 5 blacks. This gave me hope. Weeks passed by before in the early morning hours of March 28th Focus was born. The only red and white female in the litter. At that time I knew it was meant to be.
