Started getting interested in photography in year 11, havent stopped since. I have a streak for art one would say, as I also enjoy painting, infact some of my better pictures i've painted :)

Beyond year 11 I have been self taught, through books, websites and experementation. I like to think over the years that I have been taking photos that I'm slowing developing my own style.

I've had a lot of equipment over the years, starting at the "botton" and working my way up:

Practica SLR's

Pentax K1000 & A1

A few 1940-50's Kodak models (Primes, sharp as sharp)

Then when digital cameras came along my first was an Canon ixus v1, followed with an A70, then a G2 (which I still have), followed by my first DSLR, a 300D.

The 300D finally started to fail due to the pathetic shutter, and it was eventually time to upgrade to something more semi-pro a 40D, before moving to Nikon for a decade or so, then Mirrorless when Sony refined their cameras enough to make me consider moving from DSLR's

Current equipment:

Sony A7III, A7R.
