I'm sad. It's been a while since I didn't visit flickr, my first actual social network. It feels deserted now. and feature by feature we've lost a lot. Now you managed to screw up the map too. Soon this may be a graveyard just like myspace.

No soy fotógrafo ni mucho menos, pero siempre me ha gustado eso de pintar con luz, así que me conseguí una de esas cajitas con megapicheles y humo mágico y así para tomar fotos.

 

En particular me gusta capturar danza. Hay algo en la danza que sintetiza la música y la escultura, y es efímera y caprichosa. Sólo una vez puedes ver cada baile, porque nunca será exactamente igual, así que atraparlos en los picheles de la cámara para convertirlos en imagen suena como algo lógico y complementario.

 

No me dá por retocar mucho las imágenes, tal vez reencuadrarlas y acomodarlas, en lo que investigo dónde queda una Foto Tienda de adobe que me dijeron que es buena para que las fotos queden bien..

I am Héctor Lecuanda and i live in Dustopolis, Baja California.

 

I am not a photographer or anything remotely similar, but i've been always attracted by the idea of painting with light, so i got me one of those black boxers with megapitchers and magic smoke and stuff so i could take some pictures.

 

In particular, i like to capture dance performances. There is something to it that syntesizes music, sculpture, rythm and beauty. I'ts ephemeral and capricious. Only once can you see every performance, because it will never be the same again, so it makes sense to capture it on the camera's megapitchers so i can see frozen moments of it again.

 

I don't usually retouch images, maybe crop and straighten them only, while i find out where is that Photo Shope made of adobe, that someone told me makes pictures look good.
