We are a community founded on inclusivity and diversity. Early residents of this neighborhood came to Battle Creek to practice their Quaker faith and to promote equality. Leading abolitionist and underground railroad station master, Erastus Hussey called our neighborhood home, as well as the abolitionist and women's rights advocate Sojourner Truth. Today, we celebrate their legacy by living the values they promoted.
